Intro
Before joining proskilla, i was a procurement officer. I wanted to have a globally in-demand skill that is not restricted to location. Finding proskilla was the turning point that set me on a path to email marketing specialist
Challenge/background
I struggled with learning email marketing the way I wanted. Even though I tried free online resources, nothing seemed to work. I realized I need hands-on guidance.
Discovery/why proskilla
I discovered proskilla through a search on twitter. What stood out was the career focus. At first I wondered if they were genuine, but I knew this was the right step.
Learning experience
I enrolled in the email marketing program. The experience included mentorship and real world simulations. One of the biggest challenges I overcame was learning to meet deadlines due to the workload from the training.
Advice/lessons learned
My advice to future students: New students should be open to learning and ready to ask questions when they are confused. Focus on the assignments and don’t be afraid to seek help from the tutors. Proskilla gave me the confidence to try out a new skill with proper guidance.
